Hold onto your friends

Wednesday, June 9th, 2010

I was so nervous last week when the show was premiering that Brian, Meredith and Quinn escorted me to Angels & Kings where the screening party was happening. They calmed me down with a bowl of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream beforehand. Thanks guys, I love you so much!

Human Recycling

Downtown Girls made it onto The Soup Blog. ONE STEP CLOSER to Joel McHale. I can only hope that he makes fun of me. Please please please.

Downtown Girls in amNY

Tuesday, June 1st, 2010

Oh hi world it’s premiere day. We were featured in amNY today with our favorite ‘hot spots’ in New York. In case you’re interested and don’t have a magnifying glass handy to read the image, here’s what I had to say:

Sonic Vision
Fully confirming my music nerd status, I love Sonic Vision at Hayden
Planetarium. It’s an incredible mind-bending 3D rollercoaster with
vivid graphics, perfectly synchronized to some of my favorite songs,
as picked by Moby. It’s the most fun you can have for $15 and 40
minutes.

Bareburger
Bareburger in Astoria is the most delicious burger joint I’ve ever
been to. Everything on their menu is made from organic ingredients and
for some reason that makes me feel less guilty about indulging in
giant onion rings the size of my head.

In Touch Downtown Girls preview

Sunday, May 23rd, 2010

In Touch Magazine did a mini preview of MTV Downtown Girls. It’s nothing massive but it’s still crazy to see myself in a magazine for any other reason than being a contributing writer. This is going to be so weird. In a good way. I hope.
