The Joy Formidable
Tuesday, June 29th, 2010For a burst of something glorious in your ears, may I suggest ‘Whirring’ by The Joy Formidable. I saw them perform in front of a sold out crowd at Mercury Lounge last month and instantly fell in love. I grew up in awe of 90’s female fronted indie rock bands and watching The Joy Formidable sparked pure nostalgia, echoing back to that era.
If you like that, then you should invest in the whole album A Balloon Called Moaning.
